"Outstanding Final Fantasy!" - Says my imaginary magizine "4.7/5" - Says crash magizine
User Rating: 9.4 | Final Fantasy V SNES
Gameplay: The gameplay is bassically a run-off of FFIII but that's not a bad thing. This game is also a little less turn based off of the first three final fantasy games. If you think about it, this is another mix of Final Fantasy's. Like how FFIII was a mix of the first two. Well FFV is a mix of FFIII and FFIV. FFV has the job support where you can switch between classes. But this was a little tweeked. Now you don't have to use points to change from one class to another. You also get to level up with a character and a certain class. This can somewhat get boring quick if you plan on leveling all of your characters classes to 99. It also has the less turn based engine as FFIV did. Where you don't exactly wait until you have your whole party make a strategic move. But then again this was tweeked aswell.. In this game you don't wait about 5 seconds for your character to initiate a command. Even if your enemy attacks you. As soon as you give the command your character launches the attack. But if an enemy attacks first, when they're done, one split second later your character attacks...
Graphics: This games graphics are pure beauty to the FF franchise and the SNES gameline. But it also felt tweeked aswell. The games graphics are great but get minus points. This is because it feels like the character graphics have been in unimproved standards. This seems less like FF. All of the games graphics are supposed to line up and get better and better from game to game. But then again the scenery graphics were way better then FFIV's so I guess this game can get back up to an "8" on graphics...
Sound: This games music is like an anthem. Every single one of them. Especially the main theme. The beginning theme in the intro. Great. The music is just good. Just too good. Square is really doing great with music after each FF game. They are pushing it. And it's great. One of the best music in the FF franchise...
