User Rating: 10 | Final Fantasy VI Advance GBA
Final Fantasy VI has everything you could want for a RPG game. There's an interesting and captivating story, unique and memorable characters and a huge world to explore. Basically, the story revolves around Terra, a mysterious girl who is gifted with the skill of magic. In this world, magic was a power that caused a great war in the past. After the war was over magic was gone. However, Terra has this power and is being used by the empire for its own plan of world domination. The story becomes more complex as you play. The other characters have interesting side story.

The graphics in this game a true to the original game. Although there has been some minor improvements and changes for the Game Boy Advance. The sound and music score in this game are amazing. Each character has there own theme. Different locations on the map such as villages, caves and forests have their own themes as well. The best of the score would be Terra's theme and the world theme, when you are exploring the world map. Also added for the Game Boy Advance version is the Bestiary section, which keeps a record of all the monsters and villains you have beaten in the game. It contains information about the villain, stats and the number of times you have beaten them. It also plays the music you hear while you battle them, which is a nice touch.

Overall, this game is a must have for Final Fantasy games. It has all of the things that make the current Final Fantasy games great. This is where the series really took off. So dust off the GBA, take out the little clip on your DS Lite and get ready for what will probably be the last game you need for GBA. I know I'm getting some action out of the GBA Micro I bought about a month before I bought the first DS. I just can't play this game on my DS Lite because I hate how the cart will stick out of the system.
