There is no doubt in my mind that this is one of the greatest things to ever happen to video games. The Final Fantasy series has faded out quite a bit in my opinion, replacing story with new game play ideas, and while it's nice to keep the gameplay fresh, no stories will ever be as good as the older titles. Final Fantasy VI marked the very first time that I ever truly felt akin to the characters at the close of the game. The gameplay is familiar, yet easy to slip into what is different. The graphics aren't dated to me, as I love vintage games.

If only Square Enix would get the right mind to rerelease Chrono Trigger on a handheld.........then my handheld RPG collection would be complete.
