Very good story, may not be as easy to follow for those who have not played FF7 on the PS1. Play the game, get the movie

Final Fantasy 7 was a great game for the PS1, and I would like to see a remake of it on the PS3. Back to the movie, if you played the game and liked it's story, this movie is for you. I loved every minute of Final Fantasy 7 on the PS1, and when it was over I was left wanting more. I've played the game for years, and it never seems to get old. When I heard about the movie, I was kind of worried that it would turn out like Spirits Within. Spirits Within wasn't a bad movie, but it had almost nothing to do with the Final Fantasy series.
I decided that since I've spent so much time playing the game, I kinda owed it to myself to give the movie a chance. The movie is awsome. The way they animated the movie and told the story really makes it feel like the game. The
game was totally text based and I have always wondered what the games characters would sound like if they could talk. It's amazing on how they got the voices to fit with the characters. I've seen the behind the scenes voice translation and conversion to English bonus dvd, and I was amazed on how much work went into the voice acting. The movie dialog was completly in Japanese and it was animated in Japanese. What they did to make the English version was remarkable, they didn't change any of the animation, but they managed to get it to look like it was originally made in English.
I give the movie a 10 out of 10 and highly recommend it. Play the game, get the movie.
