saw this almost a year ago and then again this morning. i feel it has a few problems but it will not let down any 7 fan
but i do have a few problems with the animation of this movie. and you cant really review this without giving spoilers away so i will stick to the film and how it looks as best as i can.
the movment of things in the movie is just not right. things move with they should not. example someone is standing still and barley moves but their clothes move alot. and i mean alot as to wear it draws away from the movie. almost as if they wanted to show off their CG engine.
and then at other times things dont move enough or right at all. example someone is on a motorcycle speeding down the road at 100+ miles per hour. yet the enviroment only looks to be moving the right speed now and then and the chracters hair is still sticking out straight barely waving movie as if a gentle breeze is blowing. things like this really take away from the over all package.
the stiry i think is really well done. and this is the best CG i have ever seen (dispite the wierd movment). and if you are any kind of FF7 fan then the ending gives you what you want.
to say anymore will take away form your watching experiance.
i hope you enjoy this movie as much as myself.
