FF7 AC is a fan movie, that's clear from the name alone. But after a seven month American release delay, the movie is finally out and it was worth the wait, the graphics, and sound are absolutely stunning. The plot is subtle, but it is from the villain's point of view, not the hero's. The action scenes are awesome, the slow-motion adding to the effect. (and to help people catch up with what just happened.) The extra features are nice, and the FF7 recap on the first disc is helpful for those who never played the game (though they could have used the English game instead of subtitles).
Overall a wonderful example of artistic view with a plot that is from the other point of view than most movies. If you are a FF7 fan, or a fan of CG movies or anyone who is thinking about this film, it is a definite recommendation to see it.
