It starts of just how you wuld want it to. What happened in the origanl game is told so that new people to final fantasy VII will understand. The movie is awsome and there is not much to say. The graphics are amazing nothing like this has been done so well. Sound is also amazing if your a fan of the original you will recognize the tunes and you will relive those moments (no joke), but once again new fans will also love them. When it comes to value of it there is no discussion its only $30 and im telling you it is worth it. Dont let anyone tell you other wise.
So to sum it up if you love the game get the movie. If your new and are not sure im telling you now you will love it however it might confuse you a little but ou will figure it out and its gonna make you buy the game.
And finally if your saying that this will be crap because of the first movie "Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within" was crap. Your wrong. I am a huge fan of final fantasy but i do say that the spirits within was the worst thing i have ever seen.
So go and buy this and dont think about it JUST BUY IT.
