Let me be frank with you.

User Rating: 8.8 | Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children PSP
A have finished playing the FFVII almost a year ago; I know, I'm a bit behind those who played it in 1997. I believe that this movie sequel is a fair companion to the original game.

First, let's talk graphics. You can obviously tell that Square Enix has put in massive amounts of time to perfecting the visuals. Looking at the characters from the side or from behind, you can't tell the difference between a real human or a computer generated one. That's how real it is. The action sequences must have been coordinated by some martial arts master or swordsman, while also having some airborne aspects.

The soundtrack is pretty nice, featuring mostly songs from the previous game, with a few new additions to spice things up. However, one of the short-comings is the voice acting. I'm not sure why many of the voice actors talked like kids in the movie, making the characters seem childish. That's the one thing I didn't quite like.

Although the plot was not as rich as it could've been, the other factors and overall entertaining nature of the movie makes it a must-have for anyone remotely interested in RPG or computer graphics.
