Much better than Spirits Within.
As the title implied, the movie, based on the Playstation hit, takes place three years after the events; the planet is damaged and scarce, everyone trying to move on and a mysterious disease is spreading among them, mainly the children. Amist these mysterious circumstances, Cloud Strife, a former SOLDIER, has become a recluse, still carrying the burden for not saving both Aerith and Zack from Sephiroth. But when three men conspired together to destroy the planet once more, Cloud rises up again to stop them, while, at the same time, fights his own inner demon.
The CGI animation is spectacular and the storyline ties very well to the game.
Overall, this videogame-based movie is one not to be miss.
