Awesome sequel the most memorable RPG in history
Okay, I only read about FFVII, so I never really knew what Advent Children was gonna be about, I only watched this movie cause of how the CGI was done, awesome to the core, rivals anything Next-Gen can toss out, from how clothing moves on the characters to how the hair moves on most of the characters.

So the DVD version has included something called Reminisence of FFVII which is FFVII in 16-20 minutes, there you'll understand the story a little and know what the movie is all about. FFVII Advent Children follows the moody Cloud Strife as he adds continues to distance himself from the world and those around him, only to be pulled back when a mysterious trio attacks him outside the ruins of Midgar, so he decides to head off after Tifa tells him that Reno-member of the Turks from FFVII-tells her to tell Cloud to meet him at the Healing Lodge, there he meets Rufus Shinra, who was thought to have died in FFVII, Cloud soon a few details...which will remain silent, best not spoil too much...in the mean time, Tifa has a run in with one of the Kadaj's boys, Loz who gets his butt handed to him...only to use his weapon on Tifa, later into the movie, Cloud actually goes through a sudden change and he accepts his wrong doing and begins seeing things differently now, rest will just have to remain silent.
Voice acting is the first thing to smack and yes, it's done very well, Steven Burton voices to the moody hero and does a wonderful job, Rachel Leigh Cook voices Tifa which I thought was pretty well done, the rest of the cast is done by familiar names in the voice acting business, like Crispin Freeman, Steve Blum and so on, one voice actor I found fitting was George Newton who voices the infamous bad guy ***MAJOR SPOILER for those who didn't watch the movie*** Sephiroth, which was better than getting Lance Bass voicing Sephiroth. Music is a combination between new tracks made just for the movie and remixed songs from the game, like Tifa and Aerith's themes done in piano, which are awesome, Sephiroth's theme is more like a combination between opera and a heavy metal track combined together.
The DVD contains various things, the usual stuff you find on a DVD, behind the scenes, deleted scenes and trailers, the UMD just contains the movie and a few things...which aren't special features. the usual Japanese version and English version, caption and so on. The fight scenes are nothing short of amazement, the sword fights between Cloud and Bad Guys make the Matrix' fight scenes look like something from the Power Rangers, but it felt kinda strange seeing Cloud flying hundreds of feet in the air, still why complain fight?
For those who haven't played FFVII and heard of this movie through recommendation, I recommend watching the Reminisence of FFVII before watching this movie, but if you watched FFVII and can pull every little bit of detail, than dig right in, this is watch Video Game Adaptation is supposed to be like.
