Simply the best game I have ever played.

No other game stands out more in my life of gaming than this. It was my gateway to gaming, it started it all. Never before in my life had I seen anything so involving and amazing. With an assortment of great characters and an amazing story that will not let you quit and will literally make you finish. The game looks amazing with new updates in CG and truly utilizes the power of the playstation platform. Although the characters do look blocky it doesn't affect the game at all and you just adjust tot he appearances.The sound is amazing for it's time and the soundtrack is unique and each song fits the location and setting very nicely. The story itself revolves around Cloud (that's you by the way). Now a mercenary after quitting SOLDIER and joins an anti-Shinra organization called AVALANCHE as they start terrorist attacks against the evil corporation. The story suddenly becomes a lot more deeper and the world becomes much more expansive. The game is enormous and will at least on one play-through keep you busy for 40 + hours. I've played through it completely twice and have racked probably almost 150 hours on it. It does not have a lot of replay value but my first play-through on Final Fantasy VII is the best gaming experience I've ever had, to date.
