FFVII is an amazing game, but.......

FFVII is an excellent RPG. The graphics aren't that great, they're blocky and uninterresting, but that doesn't exactly interrupt the gameplay which is great. It's pretty similar to other RPGs, but there are a few tweaks which add some variation, which is always a good thing. The sounds are absolutely amazing, which is expected as all Final Fantasy games have great music. The worst part of FFVII is how tedious some parts of the game are. It's practically a chore to get past some of the dugeons and the whole random battle style is just a pain in the ass. Also, Final Fantasy VII is an easy game, because like most RPGs, all it takes is time and you'll be practically invincible. If they changed the fighting style to involve more interactivity (such as the fighting style of Super Mario RPG) then this game would be even better than it already is. If you're an RPG fan, please do yourself a favor and buy this game!
