One of the best RPGS ever created...
Graphics: While not so great now days, they were the best the industry had to offer back then. Everything had a charming, semi cartoon look to it. Yet there was a striking sense of realism. The cutscenes were the best around back then and for good reason. They are still very impressive now. The battle animations are well done , and the summons are unbelievable good looking.

Gameplay: You control Cloud Strife, an Ex-SOLDIER with a very mysterious past. You will meet plenty of wonderful and colorful characters as you progress through the game. You have have a party of up to 3 characters at a time. The battle system is a simple turn based one with classic FF time bars. There is also a Limit Break bar, that when filled, lets your character unleash a powerful move. Gameplay is overall simple and revolutionary at the same time.

Sound: These were the days before voice acting, which in my opinon, forces you to use your imagination more while playing a game. Some people hate it, but i love it. Music accompanys you along almost every second of your journey. The orchastreal stirs are a blast to listen to, and can create a sense of tension, right down to a sense of pride. The music is very, very, well done.
Overall: If you are in the least bit interested in Role Playing Games, then try to pick up this title A.S.A.P. Even if your not interested in turn based combat, there may be something for you yet. What people have said are true. This is one of the best RPGS to date.
