One of the best games ever made.
The storyline in the game is like this, a young mercenary and former test subject and soldier, named Cloud, and a group of rebelious hoodlums known as AVALANCHE are on a quest to take down an evil corporation who is draining the planet of it's life force, but they soon discover an even greater evil awaits them.
So you travel this explorable world as Cloud, young, brave teenager who at first doesn't care about anyone but himself. Along the way you meet many interesting characters who all have descriptive back stories, some are your allies and some are your enemies.
The gameplay is lenghts ahead of it's time, hell it's 2008 and I'm playing this game. The battling system is like that of the other final fantasy games and makes all battles a test of technical skill and stradegy.
The graphics are choppy and legoish, but what do you expect, the game was made 10 years ago.
The music in this game, and all final fantasy games, is great, it matches the theme and the battle music is intense.
The only downsides to the game are the graphics and the lack of spoken dialogue. Perhaps a remake on the Ps3 is in order? Nut if you're a fan of Rpg's or Final Fantasy, or good stories and strategy, definanlty get your hands on this game.
