A masterpiece, absolutely beautiful and memorable. However, sets the stage for a show that never lives up to this.

Simply put, it is the best game I ever played next to Chrono Trigger. The characters are diverse, rich, deep, and beautiful all in their own ways. It is a masterpiece; visually ground-breaking, fantastically composed soundtrack, unforgettable story, and sets the bar of what makes a role playing game great. Everyone knows this already, I'm just adding to the fact that this is THE game to play before you die. Hopefully it will be re-released one day on PSP or PS3. True fans will never ever get enough of this game. Released nearly a decade ago, I still find myself playing this game rather than new games out today.
