Simply put my all time favorite game.
Graphics:
At this point in time the only thing to say here is, dated. But at the time these were amazing and the CG is still ok and could be compared to some GC games. The gameplay graphics however arent as friendly. But its one of the staples that makes this game so memorable. Its proof that amazing awe inspiring graphics arent needed to make a good game. I love the cutsie look of the people and the backrounds or anything that doesnt move is actually decent looking. The games graphics overall arent very bad. At the time they were great.
Sound:
...... The music to this game.... is the best soundtrack to any game/movie/ANYTHING to ever grace this planet. The songs are so well written and fit the game so WELL! I cant get enough of it. The sound effect that are there are good as well. The music really put the mood to the game somewhat of an industrial city-like feel.
Gameplay:
ITs very very VERY good. This game has possibly one of the best storylines I have ever been a part of. This is also one of the first games to offer you choices of what to say that actually impact the story line. *SPOILERS*-- Such as you have the option of being more nice to either Tifa or Aeris which will determine who asks you on a date about half way through the game--*SPOILERS END HERE* Obviously its alot of fun training buying items sleeping at inns and killing monsters. This game also has my favorite place to be in any game.... Costa De Sol. I dont know why i like it so much. The characters are loveable the storyline has a common theme there are twists, you will laugh, you will cry ( oh you will!). Simply amazing
Overall a classic, Highly Recommended to every person on the planet.
