This game is an absolutely perfect.

the game that defines the rpg genre. without this game, i don't know that i would still be playing games. from the unbelieveably gripping and great story, to the fun materia system and gameplay, to the extreme amount of replayability... this game is a must play. i'll never forget the scene at the end of disk 1, it still is the best story related scene ever created in a video game. this game will never get old, as evidenced by the 5023423423 games square-enix is adding to the world of final fantasy vii. great story, great characters, great gameplay, great replayability... this is the only game i've ever played that has everything you could look for in a game. the graphics may be outdated, but trust me, they were incredible back in their day.
