This game is one of my favorites and its also the game that gave me the most frustration. For the most part this game is flawless. It has tons of good things to offer. The best and most memorable story in any video game I've ever played, cool characters, and also the best (and my personal favorite) music in any game I've played. All of these things make this game one of a kind. I will never forget the fun I had playing this game. Now there is just one thing I just cant stand int his game. I know the people who make the Final Fantasy games love creating new battle systems for each game...which is cool for all the other Final Fantasy games, but the battle system for this game is just ridiculous. Now the battle system in FFVII, FFX, and FFXII are all different and all work out well. But there are just so many bad things about this system. Apparently its a bad thing to level up in this game. When you level up in this game so do all your enemies. So they get stronger when you do...so its completely pointless to level up. Its really hard to go through the game and not level up at all so that frustrated me. Junctioning magic to your stats was easy to understand..but actually getting all that magic was a tough task. You had to draw all your magic from enemies. And it takes so long to get either a lot of a basic magic or to get powerful magic. And if you have magic junctioned to a stat and you use that magic your stat goes down..which also got me frustrated. It may seem like I had more bad things to say about this game, but I really did enjoy this game. I really feel like because of the junction system I couldn't beat the game. I did get to boss of the game twice but it was just ridiculously hard. Going through the game twice I never could find good enough magic (ultima, quake, etc.) or any of the necessary items to beat the boss(hero, or enough potions) and I could never get the last couple of GF's (like the Bahamut or the Tornberry King) So because of that I just couldnt beat the game. But because of the story, characters, and music it became one of my faovrite games of all time. I basically experienced 98% of the game twice. And I loved every minute I played of it. It still bothers me that I never saw the ending but you cant beat every game. I tried twice but this game I guess is just to hard for me. Im still going to give it a perfect because I got 3/4 of the way through the final boss and I fell like i experienced the best of the game twice so...Thank you Square for creating one of the best games ever created. (Just dont make the battle system like that again!) I cant wait for the next installment...Final Fantasy XIII
