Not fun at first, but it gets better as soon you get used the junction system.

User Rating: 7 | Final Fantasy VIII (Platinum) PS
Graphics: The graphics were great back then, but now it is kinda crappy because I notice that the faces on the character models where all messed up.

Sound: Music wasn't really good in this game. Most of the songs don't have that epic feeling to it. Especially the boss theme, it was pretty dull, and made the fight a little anticlimactic.

Characters: Most of the characters don't feel like they are flesh out. There are only a few characters that were pretty interesting such as Squall and Quitis. Sephie and Zell were very annoying and useless by the way.

Gameplay: There is no MP and no equipment in this game because they replace it with the junction system which increaces your stats with magic you gather from enemies or from items. At first it was troublesome for me to stock magic, but I found an alternative easier way to get magic. You can mess around with the system, and use what suits you.

Plot: I can't really tell you because I haven't finish the game yet, but it is about Squall and friends doing a really long mission as SeeDs. There is also a evil sorceress they have to assassinate.

Conclusion: The game is good but it doesn't feel as fun as some of the previous FF's. The thing that makes it stand out is it junction system that makes your character customizable. I wouldn't recommend this final fantasy to newcomers to final fantasy, I would to those played final fantasy, but haven't played this one yet.
