(Note that when i say new, I mean new from the previous game, not from the new ones) This is one of my favorite games to date. The characters are cool, (Zell is awesome, and pretty funny, and Squall and Seifer are badasses) and they still carry the charm that FF7 had. The only complain is that you can't name them all, only Squall and Rinoa (and her dog Angelo) but this is a very minuscule complain. The story is gripping, and changes flows nicely throughout the game. The music in this game is also amazing, like FF7's. (The Man With The Machine Gun, or the Laguna battle music is probably the best, or attack on Dollet) Square changed up the limit break system, making it a little more challenging. When you have high life, you will rarely get one, but when your health is low, you can have one every turn, as long as your alive. The magic system is new, and also challenging. No more MP, which i like, but i dont really mind MP. Some think it was stupid to do so, but it makes it more challenging, and fun. The new junction system is nice and easy to use, with easy to follow tutorials. Lots of side quests to do. They changed the chocobo system up, which isn't as good as 7's, but that's alright for me. Anyways great game, if you don't have this game, get it, if you can find a copy. Truly amazing.
