Final Fantasy 8 is a superb, one of a kind game. It deals with courage, loneliness, rivalry, and love. Final Fantasy 8 really took a different approach from Final Fantasy 7 with the all new GFs, weapons, abilities, leveling, storyline, and most importantly......... the GRAPHICS!!!!! ^^ The graphics took a huge change right after ff7, with a entirely new and realistic character features, including extreme in-depth characteristic facial expressions. And not only that, but the characters surroundings are almost life-like (or better)! So.... the graphics are outstanding, the gameplay is overall good, the sound is so-so, the value is average, and yet the game is still #1 to me compared to most games that I have heard of. The gameplay went in sequence with the storyline, but the fighting could have been a little more fun. The sound was beautiful, but it really didn't fit with the ending. The opening music was spectacular however. And so I give this amazing, one of a kind game a perfect 10 for effort and time well spent. Good job Squaresoft and Square-enix!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ^_-
