This particular Final Fantasy is focused, alot, upon humour and romance. You'll find yourself laughing more in this Final Fantasy than the other Final Fantasy series. The magic system can prove fustrating at first, they act like usable items where you have to "draw" it out of enemies and stock them up and using them when needed. However, the G.F. system(Summons) is unique. You can level them up and add abilities to them, they act like equipments and summons at the same time. The storyline is fluent(like most FF)you'll see that romance grows from the faintest to the obvious.(If your a huge fan of love stories, this will certainly melt your heart)You can also see how Squall struggles emotionally and is unaware of his growing love for Rinoa until she fell into a coma. There is also a mini-game which involves cards, which proves vital to the game. You can refine them into materials for upgrading weapons but mainly upgrading your G.F. Strangely, levels does not matter in this Final Fantasy.Only your G.F. and equipments matter, the higher level your character is,the tougher your enemies get.In short, the enemies grow with you. However, this is still worth getting for any RPG fans.
