Disappointing for a Final Fantasy title... But ow man, SquareEnix!!!

User Rating: 8.3 | Final Fantasy X-2 PS2
Let me start of by saying that i'm a huge fan of the FF games, and i absolutely do not want to bring the series down but...

The Downsides

I do not know what Square was thinking, it looks like though they were out to attract a larger and now more feminine audience. (something about a milk-cow comes into mind and i dare not complete this thought)
This mission-based system, really get's the pace OUT of the game. Where you can expect the usual grand storyline, in this game the main story fills up like 10 of the 40 or more hours you have to spent to complete it. The story is fine but some of these missions take up so much time it gets annoying to go complete them all. If you have completed part X, you will know Yuna and Rikku and their characters. In this installment it is disappointing to experience hardly any emotional or psychological development of the characters at all. As of where Square does try to give a nice ring to the story and love lives of the three women, it just does not cut it. To shallow. The Upside(s)

Graphically and gameplay-wise Square absolutely lives up to it's own high standards. Absolutely a must-experience for every gamer in all technical aspects.
In conclusion it is safe to say that if you really can appreciate smooth gameplay and great graphics you will enjoy this game probably until you have completed a much greater percentage than me. Otherwise, enjoy the short story and finish game asap to put it back between your copy of X and XII.
