This really isn't the terrible game everyone says.
The story starts out simple and kinda slow. It really doesn't go anywhere until chapter 3. But the point where the game really stands out is the gameplay. It's non linear, which can alter the way the story goes. The battle system is ATB, resulting in more exposive battles. You also only have three characters(Yuna,Rikku, and Paine) but you have 17 dresspheres to make up for that. You can even choose what abilities you want to learn next for each dressphere!
Overall this is a great sequel to a classic game. The graphics are still excellent and the music is great for the most part, though some songs are annoying and repetitive.Though this game may not appeal to old school FF fans, more casual RPG and FF fans will surely become attached to this fun and highly re-playable game. And, at 20 bucks or less, you really don't have an excuse to pick it up(unless you haven't played FFX yet).
