A decent attempt.

I bought this game the day it came out, and honestly I wish I had not. This is Square Enix's first attempt at making a sequel to a Final Fantasy game, and while it is not all that bad, it still could have been better. The storyline was pointless, and the only way Tidus could come back is if you got 100%, which takes forever, I never managed to before my memory card was wiped thanks to Soul Caliber 3. But the dress system was not all that great, and the faction thing didn't really seem to affect you all that much, since you could pretty much kill whoever got in your way, as the enemies were WAY too easy. the area before the final boss, with the music thing, was dumb, and the final boss battle was basically a remake of Sin. All in all, a good attempt, but not a great Christmas present to be sure.
