Final Fantasy was huge when it came out nearly five years ago. But is it still huge?

User Rating: 9.4 | Final Fantasy X (Mega Hits!) PS2
Ah, Final Fantasy X! Its one of, if not, the greatest RPGs for the PS2. It also made a major leap for the FF series. Using highly realistic graphics, fully 3D backrounds, and for the first time in the series, characters with voices, FFX seemed huge.

Graphics: When FFX released, its graphics towered over the competition by a mile. Now almost five years later, it still looks great compared to alot of PS2 games.

Sound: Great music! Wonderful. Just some.... tiny problems with the voice cast.

Playability: The combat is alot slower the previous entries in the series, which is a good thing.

Replay Value: High

Final Thought: Final Fantasy X is without a doubt the greatest RPG I've played on the PS2 so far. But there are problems. In cutscenes, mouths tend to keep moving after the dialogue is finished playing. Also, the worl map from previos FFs is gone, so FFX is a very linear experiance. But its still worth every bit of your time.
