Final Fantasy 10 is a great all-around RPG. It is Epic, well-made, and immersive.
In the game, you start off as Tidus, who is basically the jock whom everyone knows and loves. During a game of Blitzball (the sport that Tidus is the star of), Zanarkand (Tidus' home city) is attacked by an entity known as Sin.
Tidus, along with his overlooker Auron, is sent into a world known as Spira. From there, Tidus is sent into an adventure of confusion, resolve, love, and revolution.
The world of Spira is very 3rd world. The people have banned machinery. The world is a spiritual society, which is ever tormented by the entity sin.
Tidus' home world, Zanarkand, is the complete opposite. It is a huge futuristc city, with skyscrapers, lights, and the whole nine yards.
The story revolves around a girl named yuna's pilgrimage to defeat the entity sin, so that Spira may live in temporary peace. Along with her guardians (whom Tidus gets mixed up with).
The gameplay is very simple. It is turnbased. and it's based on strategy. The overall look of the game is great. The cinematics are beautiful.
The game is huge. The world of spira is just this big massive world with so much stuff to do besides the main quests.
The main story will take you anywhere from 30-40 hours to beat, and that isnt including all the side stuff.

Overall, this is a game for anyone looking for a cinematic gaming experience.
