I expected more........!!!!
Well it is nearly 3 years since i played this game.
To be brutally honest and at the risk of offending die hard FF fans i was expecting alot more from the first FF installment on playstation 2.
I absolutly loved the FF games on Playstation One and with the wonderful invention that is Playstation 2 i was expecting a massive wonderfully long adventure.........
The story line was not that good really, well abit boring, you just seem to go from temple to temple and i did not like the sphere level up - i am normally good at levelling up but i find this system quite confusing!!!
The game begins well, lovely graphics with a cool atmosphere but once Tidas encounters Sin well it all just goes along........and along and along........
I found some of the characters pretty pointless - Lulu - very beautiful with lovely clothes but somehow she just seemed to be an added extra - what happened to the fun characters and the feeling that the FF characters were true friends who would stick together to the bitter end?
In FF10 you just don't get the feeling that they like each other that much, they are just sort of thrown together and even the 'romance' between Yuna and Tidas is not convincing - a severe lack of passion occuring there!
The game is way to short - I suppose the game makers concentrated too much on the graphics and not the game play - a common fault with alot of games nowadays - if the gameplay is good then you just get used to 'older stylee graphics'
