Before purchasing Final Fantasy X, I had a hard time understanding everyone's fascination with role-playing games. I felt they were too simple, and rather than pressing buttons and watching the characters perform attacks, I needed to literally run up and slash them, using unique atttacks with my controller. Wow, have I changed since then! Final Fantasy X isin't just a game, it's an experience. An experience that everyone should go through. Never have I become so infactuated with characters in a video game, I still talk to my cousin all the time about whom likes which character more. The depth of the battles in the game really goes a lot further than a selection of say four attacks, and the cinematics are unbelievable. It felt like just when you had had enough battles the story picked up again and when you were getting bored with the story scenes, the battles picked up again, the timing was exceptional. It actually pains me to hear of people that own a PS2 and don't own Final Fantasy X and more so when they tell me they enjoy RPG's, so to sum it up PLAY THIS GAME, you won't regret it!
