Well, here it is another quick and dirty golden oldie review. I love this game. The graphics are some of the best on the Playstation 2 and it has the classic battle sequence as the previous versions. At times this game makes you think of Kingdom Hearts, but definitely is not kiddie down like it. The new skill system is interesting and takes a while to get use to for the older players. You must choose your skill path correctly or you will be doing a lot of back tracking. Plus, you need to make sure that you circulate your characters or they will become unbalanced. This is a continuation of previous methods of levelling up. The story revolves around Tidus and his merry band of fighters. He is no Cloud. But, He proves himself worthy in no time. Also, there is the addition of Blitzball. This is a fun little distraction from the main story. You can use the game to acquire experience without battling. There is glitch that allows you to win the ballgame without any real challenge. Anyhow, this is a great game that now can be bought for pennies but is still worth paying original price.
