What can be said about Final Fantasy X other than it is as close to a masterpiece as anything I have ever played. Never have I played a game where I had to sit and think about the most minute of flaws. The character development far surpassed that of any RPG I have played with the possible exception being FFVII. The graphics were exceptional (for the time) and continue to stay relevant to this day (nearly five years after it's release.) I logged well over a hundred hours playing FFX and loved every minute of it. In classic FF style FFX had an excellent well thought out plot, fluid gameplay, and efficient leveling system with the sphere grid, intriguing characters, a nefarious villain, a sweeping love story and tons of action. I was greatly disappointed at the absence of Tidus and Auron in X-2 as I had come to really enjoy their characters. Of course their absence was a necessary evil in the sequel but I will say no more to avoid spoiling the plot for those who have not had the privilege of playing this amazing game. If you don't have it, buy it; it's only $19.99 now. It will be the best $20 you ever spent on a game.
