Gorgeous graphics and an exceptional cast of characters and storyline, FFX should please anyone who can complete it.

Though lengthy and difficult at times, this is a must own for any rpg fan. The visuals were fantastic for its time and still stand out. The characters are diverse so choosing a party is not too difficult. Auron and Lulu are probably the best characters overall. I personally liked Yuna because she was the only summoner and the storyline was mainly focused on her and Tidus. The game-play is traditional turn-based and the sphere grid was a new and different change of pace when building your character up and choosing the path you want them to take. Some minor flaws were the annoying random battles every 10 seconds and Tidus' lack of affection for Yuna. As a matter of fact, Tidus' character made me angry all together. And for those who have already completed the game, you probably didn't like the ending, but for me, I somehow enjoyed it. I can safely say that this game will always be remembered as a classic and also one of the greatest rpgs/PS2 games ever created. If you are an rpg/Final Fantasy fan and for some absurd reason do not own this, then you should find a copy because its probably dirt cheap on a shelf that should be given a good home right in your empty PS2.
