Final Fantasy XII - Good Stuff!
Gameplay:
The gameplay made me very spectical at first, but after the first fights il already feels just right. Its fun, and you can still change the speed and make it "active" or "wait".
I gave a 9 instead of a 10 becose I feel the game is lacking options. No sound/music volume? no inverted camera control? WTF? The camera system also can be chunky when your against a wall it refuses to look in front of you.
Graphics:
The best the ps2 can do, there is no way you can do more than that with 4 megs of video ram. They probably calculated every bytes at the end. The models are truely good and its a huge improvement over FFX. Cut scenes are amazing as always.
Sound: Same old music, well made but it could be a bit more contemporary. Lets say it could be darker and have more clusters.
Sounds are fine for the game but the DTX is wacked some time and the voices get suddendly loud when the camera angle change.
Voices are realy good but I wish they were louder compared to the music and, like said above, there is no volume control.
Story:
I dont know what game people played when thy said there is no character developpement, but so far so good. The entrance of every character is memorable and the princess chick seems sweet. ;)
