One of the things that grabbed my attention the most besides the amazing graphic and gameplay, is how you can change the leader of the group. That way if the main character dies, you don't have to start over. I love the fighting in this as well. How you can run around and attack the creatures you want to, even hunting for special creatures. Very impressive. The only thing that could top this would be Final Fantasy for PS3. I said it before, and I'll say it again. If you like Final Fantasy, you gotta get this one. Even if you never played Final Fantasy before (which would be sad) it would be a great buy.
