What happened to turn based.

What's up with this Final fantasy I'm a fan of the series but there is a big part missing the part that Final fantasies are known for turn based fighting system.
Don't get me wrong I love the graphics they are great but I miss the way final fantasy used to be I bought this game and was very disappointed. Like I said the graphic were great the storyline was great but I miss the turn based fighting system. I'd still recommend this game but if you loved final fantasy games because of the turn based system then this might not be for you.
