Few series can release 12 installments total, let alone make every single one engrossing.
User Rating: 9 | Final Fantasy XII PS2
When you first play Final Fantasy XII, the story starts. I was confused. Usually square enix has a, let's save the world immediately theme. But this game uses a deeper story line. It's more about world conflict and politics. I was skeptic about this game at first. The game play was subpar, the graphics weren't a huge improvement from X and the characters weren't complex at all. But after further inspection, the game really picks up. It takes a long time to get the gambit system up and have it customized just right. It takes a long time to get all six characters at your disposal in the story line. This game takes patience to get into, but when you do, it becomes just as engrossing and addicting as all the others. There are plenty of secrets, and the difficulty in battles is much harder. I've had more game overs already than in any other Final Fantasy. Some of the Espers are just downright a tough battle. If you love Final Fantasy's and need another one to play for countless hours get this one. You won't be disappointed.
