I thought this was supposed to be a Final Fantasy game, not a sleeping pill.

Being a Final Fantasy game I was very excited about grabbing a copy. The intro grabbed me and I became all excited due to the great graphics. Over time though I found the game to be EXTREMELY boring. Sadly I played through the whole thing and cannot really say why it took 80 hours. Not much happened. People died, a stone blew up in the oven...::yawn::

There are long gaps between the story parts. Combat is annoying dealing with faulty AI which they force you to build yourself. The characters sound like they had their voices recorded in a grarage or basement. And the fun in advancing your toons is gone because they will end up all knowing the same skills anyways from the way the grid is made. The main graphics are good but there are next to no movies like you expect from the series.

Sorry to say this is a definate drop in quality from what I expected from the series and cannot by any means recommend it.
