Even though FFXII is far beyond from being a top level RPG, It have many great features that makes it a good game.

User Rating: 9 | Final Fantasy XII PS2
Pros: Great improvement in the battle system, every single character is worthy, multiple weapons for all characters, fun side-missions.

Cons: Sometimes you feel like it's not a Final Fantasy story at all (You get lost pretty easy)

Even though this Final Fantasy is far beyond from being a top level RPG, such as it's predecessors (Final Fantasy VII and X), It have many great features that makes it a good game. FFXII have a good storyline, great characters and a nice ending. The new battle system is will never get boring and the graphics are amazing (considering is a PS3 game). One thing that you will love about this game is that all characters have great abilities, there are no useless characters, such a Kimahri in FFX, which in my opinion is very useless.

Final Fantasy XII talks about the story of a young man named Vann, who lost his family in the war with the Empire some time ago. Vann lives on the streets of Rabanastre and he's dreams is becoming a sky-pirate one day. For him, the Empire is a hated enemy who took the life of his brother (the only family he has left). Other character of this game is Penelo, she has always been with Vaan since she loose her family in the war with the Empire too, but they wants to take revange for it. Later you'll meet Balthier (who discribe himself has a noble thief), Fran (a viera warrior), Bash (a traitor) and Ashe (daughter of King Raminas) and they will help you in your long journey across the world of Ivalice.

Final Fantasy XII counts with a revolutionary Active Dimension Battle (ADB) system, combining the ease of turn- based RPGs with the excitement of real time action. This battle style is great and very fun to play.

Character development in Final Fantasy XII is based on the adquirition of "licenses." Licenses are required to equip weapons and armor, learn magics and technics, and enhance a chacter's abilities.

Gambits are custumizables commands that can direct characters to automatically peform certain tasks during battle. I dont like this Gambits thing too much. (It's very complicated)

Being able to play side-story missions has been a tradition that people love about every Final Fantasy game. This game stays exactly in that line. The player will be able to complete hundreds of hunts and marks throughout all the world of Ivalice.
