This game is seriously awesome!

It was well worth the wait for this amazing Final Fantasy. You never truly know what to expect from Squeenix, except for a great new RPG.

Sure, the system is more action oriented, but so what? There's no formula for a great game, but Squeenix has a way with finding what is needed to make one. I've looked for a game that combined some great elements of MMORPGs with something online play misses; a great story. Gambits allow for reasonable, yet still challenging, control of multiple characters with free-roaming enemies. As with some MMORPGs, even if you train up, there may still be enemies that you can not defeat in the area.

Loot dropped from enemies is sold for money, instead of animals just happening to have gold on them. This is much more reasonable, in my oppinion, and somehow makes a world where things are powered by magick just a little bit more realistic.

Hunts and other sidequests provide lots of hours of extra play beyond the storyline, and can keep you busy for quite a while.

And, as many of you know, sometimes, all you want to do is slash someting to bits. Feel free to do so in the many large areas of free-roaming enemies. While you're at it, gain some License Points and loot while you're at it!

Great game!
