i say very hard, because its extremely hard, not very hard, to swallow this.

heres a short list of why i loved ff7 through ff10:

they had a STORY. you were ALWAYS DOING SOMETHING!!!!! and at every new area that you got too, something in the story would unfold, and above all, it was written superbly, so you were always left enjoying the suspence of what would happen. the beauty of it..... and the MUSIC. wow. the memories. that... thats about it. thats why i played final fantasy games. they had a soul, and it was like, furiously humongous, and it would swallow you whole.

and now for this game. fran's voluptuous behind.... wow. that is the best part of that game to me. during my 88 hours of gameplay - i shall note that i did not finish the game, because i just couldn't bear any more of this mediocrity - a story was present for about 2 hours of the time. WOW THATS GOING DOWNHILL!!!!! two freaking hours. great. they sell me a FF game wiht no story. that is, for soemthing that bears the name of final fantasy, and flaunts itself as a single player game, the most unbearble facet of this piece of garbage. ok... AND PEOPLE ARE GIVING IT what!... what else, but good scores.

now, in hoping that you will in fact read my review on this game, and hopefully spare yourself of this garbage, i shall tell you of waht you will experience. as said earlier, 2 hours of story, give or take, of coarse, equals, roughly speaking, about eighty four or eighty five hours of gameplay in my experience. which brings me to the left anaolog stick. set your gambits, which you will need to modify time after time to get it right, and you're free to simply use your left thumb to navigate the endless world of dogs, might-as-well-be-cats, birds, and other beasts. you will kill them, you will level up, and after a few hours you will go back to where you came from, sell your loot attained from the fallen, and buy your magicks and weapons, etc. repeat. repeat a lot, because if you don't, you'll never be able to advance and beat those really tough ones and get into the enxt area. repeat again, ad infinum. as my FF fanatic friend said, she constantly expected something cool to happen around the corner, but it never comes in the end. i guess they didn't care about a story. like i seriously think that enix, a name that brings pain to my ears now, chose the path of mediocrity, and lazyness. or maybe they couldn't hire anyone that could write somethign interesting. thats all the time i ahve to waste on this game. IN SHORT _-------the summons are not interesting. you can't look at them, you can't enjoy them. they are not presented in the same way as they were. this game is no longer a piece of art. its a piece of hemoraging gonorhea. theeres no music worth listening to. horrible 'level' design. horrible story. no depth to the story or the characters. uninteresting. not enough butt. too much running around for hours at a time. waste of time, unless.......... u want an action game instead. horrible control scheme for an action game. should let you simply swing your sword as you chose to. could have added jumping to. FPS mode for anyone, sword or gun in hand. less stupid animals and enemies. birds? god damn it. you know waht though, even as an rpg of oblivion proprtions, you still need a freaking story! i mean, a GOODDDDDDDDDD story.

one last word.... if you score this game high, then you are only encourageing them to not give a damn about story....
