but ya know, im a huge fan of final fantasy, and i didnt quite find this installment as captivating as the others. now come on squaresoft, be a pal and give us a FFVII remake, would ya? cant get much more captivating than that game, now can you? however, FFXII is nothing more than an offline version of 11, with a more interesting story. one thing i didnt appreciate was the battle system, i was a beta tester for 11 and loved it, but since theres no one around to interact with, it kind of makes it boring and more of a task than an actual challenge. alot of the game is spent running around, back and forth, point a to point b, so on and so forth. not much time spent with the characters personally in the beginning. all in all, its alot more tedious than the previous installments, while still carrying the value of the FF series (later in the game), it doesnt pack as much of a punch.
