Final Fantasy XII

Good, not great.

The score is awesome, the graphics are supremely accomplished, but the game-play definitely leaves something to be desired. While in contrast to FF titles III-X, (each in possession of traditional RPG accompanied by its own unique FF-kick), XII just seems to have the battle-sequences drag longer than they should, (probably the game-developer’s stretch for realism, I presume) succeeding in reminding us exactly how boring regular life can be at times.

Lastly, Keith Ferguson (Basch’s English voice actor) seems to hesitate with brining out his character’s emotional potential during the beginning of the game; a major “no-no!”

Besides that… the game’s pretty good.
