A great change from the classic turn-based FF action
Gameplay - It's a nice break from the turn-based style the classic FF's have used and doesn't take too long to get used to. They really pulled it off by getting the real time action in there, even though I was a bit skeptical at first. The addition of green, black, and arcane magic was a nice surprise too. Graphics - 'You can tell it's the end of the PS2's life'. That's what I hear from many and it is obvious. The graphics are one of the best of seen for rhis system, ever. The CG's are amazing and beautiful to watch and even the gameplay graphics blow the old FF's out of the water. Sound - Voiceovers were done very well in my opinion, even though there is the occasion where dialogue doesn't match up with the subtitles. This isn't a big deal and it still matches fine in the end. However, I'm no sound expert and most of it will sound good to me anyway=p
Value - For $59.99, best deal I've gotten on a game this year. For me, 70+ hours and I enjoyed every second of it, even though a couple of bosses have gotten me frustrated. I just have no idea how they fit this entire game on one disk.
Overall, best of the few PS2 games I've played this year and I look forward to their future games, especially FF XIII for the PS3.
