This game has a different gameplay than the others. Instead of just a turn based fighting system its a bit more real time. I mean it is still turn based just in a unique way. You'll give commands like in other any final fantasy or just use gambits which is another special thing about this game, and obviously wait until they attack, which in this game you don't give a command and they do it right away. An "attack meter" is used. When the meter is full they attack. Plus the more you level up the faster the meter, so you'll get to a point that you don't have to wait. Which gives the game a little more difficulty. Now gambits are orders that you place in your spare time. So when you're in a battle you won't have to give commands to your other party members. Or just use on the character you're using so you wont have to give commands at all. The story is exciting and complex. The game takes a long time to beat and is worth the wait.
