Simply phenomenal. A Final Fantasy fan has got to have this one! Even any PS2 owner should have this beauty!

To start off, I like RPGs, and the most famous of all RPG franchises is Final Fantasy. I just wonder how Square Enix keep coming up with so many entries into the series, it's just amazing. They're even making Final Fantasy XIII for the PS3! OK, so I got this game from a friend who told me it wasn't that good 'cause he doesn't like RPGs, but I was really convinced by the high scores and raving reviews, so I get it from him. I go home, whack the game in the PS2, and just enjoy it big time. The game is pretty tough and offers some good challenge. The new fighting system was also pretty cool. The new gambit system was also pretty awesome, making the combat slightly easier. There's a lot of things to learn in the game, but with time you'll get used to it. My only complaint is that even if you are slightly distant from an enemy, you still get hit. Other than that, it's a non-stop thrill ride. The setting was also really great.

The graphics, one of my very favorite parts about the game. Other games' graphics were starting to show the PS2's age, but not this baby. This here is simply one of the finest looking PS2 games ever! The movie cinematics? Absolutely beyond belief! Crowds look amazing and the characters and their expressions are awesome, and everything moves, from clothes to hair, everything! The gameplay cinematics are also amazing. The hair and clothes move in those cinematics too, and the character models and expressions are still amazing! The in-gameplay graphics are also stunning. Everything is in complete detail and the looks of the magic and effects really pack a wallop.

In addition to great graphics and gameplay, the game sounds great! The voice acting? Absolutely incredible. Makes the game feel like a movie. And the music? Perfectly fitting to the setting.

In all, simply one of the best role playing games and one of the best PS2 games ever made! All hail, Square Enix! If you have a PS2 and enjoy final fantasy, definitely don't hesitate to pick this one up. It will no disappoint. Have fun!!!
