The best RPG in ages. Mainly because of none of that confusing combat stuff.

The 12th Final Fantasy game is surely the best one in ages. For starters- it has a new combat system which is fairly easy to use. The concept is that a small orange attack meter at the bottom of the screen fills up over time and then, after a few seconds, you can attack. This is quite fun and is a big step away from the previous games' "Turn based attacks". You may like this but some old Final Fantasy fans may not.

Next, the story, plot and voice acting are great. The cinematics are long and you can pause them if you want to leave the game and come back later to its confusing yet great story.

The graphics, umm... awesome. The most detailed you'll ever see on a PlayStation 2.

The only bad is really up to you and that is the lifespan. So far I haven't completed it but I'm already on 32 hours. I'm guessing I'm around halfway. If you like a long epic game then this is definitely for you. If you don't then it's still worth a look.

Overall, I love this game and so should you.

I recommend this game for people who like the previous Final Fantasy games, Kingdom Hearts and if you really are that sad- Runescape.
