This game brings back what FF fans love most and bring some new additions to the table.

Final Fantasy XIII-2 is a heart-felt adventure starring Lightning's sister, Serah, and a new character, Noel. In the game, you travel through time solving paradoxes and trying to find your sister. Along the way, you'll encounter old friends and new ones and discover that there's more going on than meets the eye. As the journey progresses, you learn more about Noel and his mysterious past. The battle system is almost unchanged except for a few small changes and monsters added to the party after defeated. You can level up the party members using the crystarium similar to the last game's, but this time, it allows for more freedom in progression. This adventure brings many series staples such as: towns, a shopkeeper, puzzles, and minigames. The developers have fixed the major issue of linearity for those who were let down by it. Overall, this game is astounding, renews hope for any fans of the franchise, and is worth playing over and over again. The future of this franchise looks bright.
