Playing this game is like eating a Pop-tart. In a good way.

This game shows that changing the style and story of a well known franchise doesn't ruin it. It starts off a little questionable like bitting into the crust on a poptart and gets better and better as you go with the ocassional slow downs in the action(more plain crust in your mouth.) It has nothing to fear graphically or with the linearity of the story, it keeps you always moving foward. You begin to feel cramped as you go foward on this long journey.(Poptarts are usually bagged in two's). The cutscenes are like the bright shiney wrapper that you don't want to miss. The gameplay is solid and much quicker than other FF games. It also shows that there still is hope for badass female characters in games, although Snow is right up there too. Overall this is an experiance worth having but make sure you know what you're sinking your teeth into before buying.
