Get this game if you prefer graphics over gameplay.

Being a fan of the FF series, I must say that XIII was quite disappointing, not only because of the extremely linear design and layout, but the watered down gameplay. You will be witnessing some beautiful graphics and cut scenes, only to be playing a game which revolves around running in a line straight and fighting enemies along the way. There is no room for exploration, no armor, no towns. Basically you will be running from Point A to Point B fighting enemies. The battle system is easy, just set your Paradigm to Relentless Assault, and hit Auto Battle for an easy victory. The game can be enjoyable since it does offer spectacular graphics and cut scenes, but there is nothing memorable about the experience or the music. The atmospheres and environments are really well done but they dont capture you like the Ghost Train in FF6 or Nibelheim in FF7............
