Don't expect greatness from this game because it will just let you down. The game is very very linear, however it does make up for it with the beautiful graphics, amazing sound and awesome battles. The game brings a new age for final fantasy fans, deploying a new battle system and linear gameplay without shops and cities.

Rating Criteria:
The Graphics/Sound - 9/10
It plainly sets a new generation of beautiful graphics for future standards to be raised in the final fantasy series. The sound however may not be at teh same level as the graphics but it still sounds brillant bringing memories back from past games.

Gameplay - 8/10
Very Very Linear, as quoted before, however the battles are still magnificent making you want more and more. There are no cities and shops as you buy stuff from saving post which can be annoying at times.

From my perspective, there was no annoying characters, having no cities and towns was idiotic and the very linear gameplay is stupid and i would not enforce it for the future. The battling system is ok but it can improve and the leveling up system was too easy and even a 5yr old could have done it. If you were to buy this game, i would recommend it when the price drops, it just doesn't meet final fantasy standards and not worth every cent if brought over $100.
